Topspin Promo Brings Home a W3 Award

Score one for the little guy. Our video for Topspin Media just brought home the gold from the 2011 W3  awards in the Branded Content: Business to Business category. In a competition “accessible to the biggest agencies, the smallest firms, and everyone in between”1 it’s quite an honor to see our name in the winner’s circle. A big thanks to Parker and the rest of the guys in the LA based band Les Blanks for letting us point a camera in your faces for two days. And thanks to Ian, Andrew and Bob of Topspin for helping us make software look cool. We much enjoyed the collaboration. View the now award-winning video on our website, here.

The online experience borrows its sober stories of African AIDS orphans from World Vision’s three-thousand square foot AIDS Exhibit, also designed by New Monarchy. The success of this touring exhibit, visited by thousands of people in venues such as New York City’s Grand Central Station and the International AIDS Conference in Toronto, prompted World Vision to explore other vehicles to tell these stories to an even broader audience. The internet was the natural first choice.
