A musician’s side hustle can start with driving Uber and end at the awards stage. For Uber’s Road to the Grammys campaign, we matched real-life Uber drivers, each with musical aspirations of their own, with a surprise Grammy-nominated artist getting into their car. As Khalid, Julia Michaels, and Lil Uzi Vert each took a drive through their home towns where their journeys began, they shared some of what they’ve learned along the way with the ones behind the wheel.
